Manifesto

We are five photographers from all over Italy. In 2015 we went bananas and started a collective, mainly to have one safe place where someone can finally say: “this photo is crap.”

No hearts, no fire emojis, no “great shot, mate”. Online, everything is amazing. In here, almost nothing is. That’s the point. Honesty is the only way we know to get better, and arguing over pictures is the only method that has ever worked. We’ve dragged that habit through quite a few festivals, and we’re still growing up. Slowly. Loudly.

We wander the streets because you never know. A wall, a bin, a man waiting for a bus mean absolutely nothing to most people. Framed well, they might mean something. Framed by a banana, they might mean something else entirely.
